International Mountain Summit – with impetus towards
the second edition
Once again Brixen/Bressanone will host the
international mountain scene from 2nd to 7th November
2010
The IMS Talk schedule offers a unique chance to
listen to the world's best mountaineers and climbers
such as Reinhold Messner and Stephen Venables in a
series of fascinating talks, presentations and
discussions.
At IMS Congress, internationally renowned
experts share their knowledge and expertise on a broad
range of subjects such as "Mountains and health issues",
"Mountains and safety", "Mountains and organisations",
”Mountains and Culture” and "Mountains and people".
The IMS Walk offers the opportunity to explore
the most remarkable mountain trails in South Tyrol on a
hike with world-famous climbers. Use this unique
opportunity to chat to other mountain sports enthusiasts
and get to know some fascinating characters of the
international mountaineering scene.
For pros and amateurs alike, the IMS Bouldering
Festival is a great chance for passionate climbers
to show their talent. The IMS Cup 2010 with its
international range of elite boulderers is the absolute
event highlight.
The IMS Projects create a key space for an
open exchange of ideas where mountaineers, organisations
and sponsors alike offer insights into innovative and
inspiring projects.
During three days of IMS Film, breath-taking adventures
in the world of ice and rocks can be relived on the big
screen: chosen masterpieces, classics and soon-to-be
classics of the international mountain film scene at the
IMS.
