MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKING AND LECTURES
Stephen gave his first professional lecture at a Gloucester
school in 1982. Since then he has inspired and entertained many
thousands of people throughout Britain and all over the world.
Events have ranged from corporate training days to boardroom
dinners, sales conferences, school speech days, book launches
and theatre evenings.
His shortest presentation was a fifteen minute keynote address
for the launch of a new computer; the longest a three hour
seminar for a travel company’s annual conference in South
Africa; a typical lecture lasts about one hour, and is usually
illustrated with a selection of Stephen’s stunning photos, but,
needless to say, Stephen is always happy to discuss a client’s
precise requirements and adjust accordingly.
Fees are by negotiation and depend considerably on the nature of
the engagement.

The Legend of Eric Shipton
Following the last two years’ successful theatre tours with
Speakers from the Edge, in 2012 Stephen has a new slideshow
based on the extraordinary career of the mountain explorer Eric
Shipton.
From Uganda’s Rwenzori mountains, to Everest, to Snow Lake, to
Tierra del Fuego … Stephen has frequently found himself
following in the steps of the great explorer and occasionally
climbing the mountains he missed out.
